The <strike> tag is officially deprecated effective with HTML 4.0.
Instead, you are now to use the style sheets text-decoration property.
However, this tag remains in minor use on the Internet and is still recognized by all
major browsers.
The strike tag causes the designated text to be displayed with a struck through horizontal line.
The s tag performs the exact same function, however, it also is deprecated.
The closing tag is mandatory.
